All my life I had been looking for something, and everywhere I turned, someone tried to tell me what it was. I accepted their answers too, though they were often in contradiction and even self-contradictory. I was naïve. I was looking for myself and asking everyone except myself questions which I, and only I, could answer. It took me a long time and much painful boomeranging of my expectations to achieve a realization everyone else appears to have been born with: that I am nobody but myself.

1- I consider myself a somewhat intelligent person (as far as goes) with my own opinions. Although I never tend to put myself higher than anybody else, that just will happen, if somebody's a moron.
2- I'm a very open person and I don't have any prejudices, people are people.
3- I enjoy intellectual, intelligent conversations with worthy people who have something to say.
4- I never think of the future - it comes soon enough.
5- I can resist everything except temptation.
6- I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
7- I have great faith in fools ; Self-confidence my friends call it.
8- I hope life isn't a joke, because I don't get it.
9- I love my past. I love my present. I'm not ashamed of what I've had, and I'm not sad because I have it no longer.
10- I love America more than any other country in this world; and, exactly for this reason, I insist on the right to criticize her perpetually.
11- I enjoy life. I think I'll enjoy death even more. (lol)
12- I think we dream so we don't have to be apart so long. If we're in each other's dreams, we can play together all night.
13- I always wanted to be somebody, but now I realize I should have been more specific.
14- I don't know what the key to success is, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone.
15- I wanna live 'til I die, no more, no less.
16- I made up my mind long ago that life was too short to do anything for myself that I could pay others to do for me.
17- Until I was 13, I thought my name was ' Shut Up.'
18- I don't confuse greatness with perfection. To be great anyhow is...the higher achievement.
19- My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.
20- I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying.
21- I say no to drugs, but they don't listen.
22- I don't think anyone should write his autobiography until after he's dead.
23- I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
24- I'm a great believer in luck and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it.
25- I CAN is 100 times more important than IQ.
26- I always advise people never to give advice.
27- I believe in a lively disrespect for most forms of authority.
28- I don't want to live. I want to love first, and live incidentally.
29- I think crime pays. The hours are good, you travel a lot.
30- I think of life itself now as a wonderful play that I've written for myself, and so my purpose is to have the utmost fun playing my part.
